Hi, I’m Kate and writing is my passion. Over the years many writers have helped me along the way, including Amy Sparkes and Annaliese Avery. Now it’s time to share my knowledge and experience with new writers just as I was helped. I have been writing for over ten years.

Achievements

My work is published in Aquila magazine. I am a feature writer for Words & Pictures. I have won SCBWI’s Slushpile challenge, and won runner up for the Writing Magazine Chapter Book prize. I was shortlisted for the Chicken House Open Coop and Writementor. My books have also been longlisted for both Guppy Publishing’s Open Submission and Searchlight.
